Yes, for the first time ever here on FiMFiction, I'll be participating in an event.
So I WAS going to hem and haw and go "oh, should I do Jinglemas this year?" Only to remember that I did it in both 2019 and 2020 so I might as well make a habit of it. Huh. Nevermind the fact that my holiday stories tend to get less attention than my regular stories (which is saying something), and nevermind the fact this takes theoretical writing time away from the latest Flash Sentry misadventure and/or the non-pony stuff I've been chipping away at for awhile yet, and nevermind the fact that
As most people who follow me know, I'm pretty schizophrenic when it comes to releasing stories. However, there is one event that I've remained punctual for ever since 2018: Jinglemas. Part of it is because, unlike contests that I can drop out of at any point, I actually have to finish a Jinglemas story since somebody is actively expecting one. That, and having a specific person to write for forces me to actually do research about what

So yeah. The holidays approach with the sure inevitability of a festive-themed glacier. Or something. The good news is, I've gotten just about all the big stuff tended to. Gifts have been acquired and wrapped (for the most part), and plans for the holiday weekend are in place. Even got a booster shot yesterday, which, roughly 24 hours later, has me feeling a bit achey, but it's certainly better than the alternative.

Here comes another (mostly) unnecessary blog post from your homie, Neckbeard.
So here's the deal: I wrote this really silly one-shot story, the one I tagged, and how, I'm still not entirely sure, but it got featured. It was in the featured box for three days straight, and it even hit the #1 spot for like, half a day. I know this shouldn't be a big deal, but this was the first time it happened during my short Fimfic career.
This weekend is Jinglemas and lots of great stories are being posted!
Among those are mine, which just came out today! It's a fluffy romance about Minuette and Berry Punch on Hearth's Warming Eve, which is new thing from me, but I hope you enjoy it!
My gift fic is also really good! It has Cherry Berry x Rainbow Dash, which is a very underrated ship that deserves more love. It's just so perfect!
Yeah, I know, I'm like a week late with this announcement. I'm aware that I've been getting more and more scarce on here, but that doesn't mean that I'm not interested in some Fimfic events from time to time - and this is certainly, certainly no exception.
